Personal data
When you register for the self-help program you will be asked to provide personal data. This includes information such as your e-mail address and age and is used for the following purposes:
- To make the self-help program technically feasible;
- To provide log-in details which will allow you to participate in the self-help program;
- To be able to provide personal coaching.
Visitor data
As part of our service, we keep track of visitor data. This includes information such as the duration of your log-in sessions on the website, IP addresses and URLs. This information might be used for the following purposes. This is for technical management purposes only, such as providing sufficient server capacity to accommodate the number of visitors;
Personal data will be deleted
Your personal data will be deleted:
- Two years after you received your log-in details for the self-help program;
- If you do not log in for 12 consecutive months.
Cookies
The parts of the website which are only accessible to participants make use of cookies. These cookies are only used to monitor access and facilitate the use of the environment. You can adjust the settings on your browser so that the use of cookies is blocked or to warn you when cookies are created.
Amendments privacy statement
Leiden University reserves the right to make amendments to this privacy statement, obviously respecting the legal provisions regarding privacy. Participants will be informed of any changes. They are then given the opportunity to stop participating and delete all stored data.
